Polynucleotide treatment use biostimulators that stimulate cells to produce collagen and elastin to restore skin tone and elasticity.
Their effect becomes more apparent after a few months and can therefore last longer. This is because fibroblasts take time to activate and start producing collagen and elastin. It gives a more natural-looking and longer lasting result that can last between 3 months to 2 years.
Polynucleotides can be injected under the eyes, the face, neck and décolletage. It tends to work best on those who are a little older with moderate skin laxity.
A course of 3-4 sessions is recommended, 2-4 weeks apart.
Maintenance is recommended every 6 months.
Possible side effects include; redness, swelling, mild bruising, tenderness, itching, infection and allergic reactions.
Not suitable for vegetarians, vegans and those with fish allergies.
