Terms and Conditions of Service

You are invited to read these Terms and Conditions of my Service carefully.

If you require any further information, please contact me as I am only too happy to answer any questions you have.

You must be over 18 years of age.

Consultations

An in-depth consultation is required before any treatments are offered.

They are necessary for me to:

  • Understand what you are seeking to achieve from your treatment
  • Understand why you want it
  • Provide confidential, professional and impartial advice
  • Provide fully explained treatment options. This includes;
    • Exactly what the treatment is
    • How it is done
    • How to prepare for it
    • How to care for it
    • What, if any risks are known and what to do if you have any concerns
  • Guide if I believe that treatments are unsuitable or unwise
  • Answer any questions you may have
  • Obtain your written consent to treat you. Note: you can still change your mind before being treated. It is not possible to perform any treatments during your consultation.

I charge for my consultations as I provide a specialist advisory service that is not designed to pay for itself through guaranteed sales as this is unethical. You are under no obligation to be treated.

Ethics

All of my treatments are provided in a clinical setting. I provide confidential, professional and impartial advice and informed options.

I will only provide natural looking treatments.

I will never offer or perform a treatment that:

  • I believe to be unnecessary, or
  • Is not in your best interests, or
  • Looks unnatural (despite current and popular trends)

Risks

Your safety is my number 1 priority. I have proudly worked within the NHS for over 31 years and I am an Advanced Nurse Practitioner and Independent Nurse Prescriber. I am registered and regulated with the Nursing & Midwifery Council and the Royal College of Nursing.

I am passionate and committed to my ongoing professional development as evident in my Medical Aesthetics MSc (Masters Degree) studies along with in person courses and conferences and weekly virtual webinars with world leading Plastic Surgeons and Anatomists.

An allergic reaction or experiencing sensitivity to treatment is rare, but this can happen. This will be fully explained to you so that you can make an informed decision about being treated. Your aftercare leaflet will explain what to do if you are concerned so please keep this in a safe place.

  • Appointments are only confirmed when my Terms and Conditions of Service are accepted.
  • A 50% non-refundable fee is taken to secure your booking.

  • Please do not wear any makeup.
  • In the interests of safety and hygiene, children and additional guests cannot be accommodated in my clinic. or
  • If you wish to bring someone with you (partner or friend), please let me know in advance so arrangements can be made to accommodate them in my clinical setting.

Short notice cancellations and missed appointments

If you need to reschedule any appointments, please provide as much notice as possible.

It is necessary for Aesthetic professionals (service providers) to have policies in place to protect their income as a consequence of short notice cancellations and missed appointments.

  • If you cancel your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice, you are required to pay a cancellation fee that amounts to 50% of the total cost of your appointment.
  • If you miss your appointment, you will be asked to pay a cancellation fee that amounts to 100% of the total cost.

Arriving Late

  • I work to a strict work schedule. If it is safe and legal to do so, please let me know that you are running late. I will guide on whether it is viable for you to continue to make your way.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, it may not be possible to provide the agreed service.

In either case, your inability to make your appointment on time for me to provide my agreed services will be treated as a missed appointment.

A cancellation fee that amounts to 100% of the total cost is sought and needs to be settled before another appointment will be offered.

Payments

A 50% non-refundable fee is taken to secure your booking.

The reminder should be paid in full, immediately after the service has been provided.

I accept cash and in person or virtual card payments.

If a payment is not settled for any reason, you are required to settle the balance within 3 working days or an administration charge of £20 will be added. This must be settled before any further appointments can be offered. If the full balance is not settled within 28 days, I reserve the right to lay a claim before a court to seek recovery of the outstanding payment, fees and any subsequent recovery costs.

Data Privacy

I take your right to privacy seriously.

You have the right ‘to be forgotten’ under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) so you can ask an organisation that holds data about you to delete it. I am required to maintain and keep relevant treatment records for up to 10 years. This is usual and is a requirement from insurance providers.

I cannot offer treatments if you do not want me to hold any data about you.

I cannot delete data for past treatments under 10 years old.

Satisfaction

In the interests of your safety and to achieve the best results from your treatment, you must follow the before and after care advice that you are given and keep your advisory leaflet for future reference.

In the unlikely event that you are not happy with my treatment or service in any way, please inform me of the exact nature of your concerns at the time or within 14 days of your treatment. I will work with you to resolve them.

Refunds will only be considered in exceptional circumstances / are not provided as the treatment has been administered.
