Pure hyaluronic acid is precisely injected into the area being treated to stimulate collagen and elastin, attracting water in the deeper layers of the skin.
The treatment consists of 2 sessions, 1 month apart to ensure maximum results are achieved. If there is significant ageing, another treatment can be applied 4-8weeks later.
Maintenance
A maintenance treatment every 6 months is recommended to ensure the results are maintained.
It helps restores moisture and helps the skin look hydrated, smoother, plumper, and tighter. It has been described as “a moisture in a needle”.
It can be given after botulinum toxin A treatment but should have a 2-week gap if patient has had dermal filler.
The skin will have raised areas at the injection points.
